President's Column
Hello Fellow and Lady Buzzards!
I hope this newsletter finds you all in good health.
We had a good time at Big Town in December for Christmas Dinner. The catering was nice and the food was good. It was nice to have one more meeting at Big Town before the doors closed. I will miss the place as we both celebrated 50 years this year. Hate to see it go by the wayside. At the meeting we covered quite a bit, so I’ll try to be as brief as possible. The club took a vote and we raised our monthly dues and voted on AMF Showplace Lanes Garland for our home center. Dues are to be $15.00 starting January 10th to offset the cost of lineage going up at different centers, and we’ll meet at Showplace Lanes for this months meeting. This month we will try to go over the Audit committee findings, and we’ll elect new officers. If we have time, we’ll see if we can get the By-laws committee done. If not, that will be postponed until the February meeting. I urge everyone to show up for the voting process to make sure your club has leadership worthy of the Buzzard standards. I hope to see you there.
