Hello Fellow and Lady Buzzards!
I hope this newsletter finds you all in good health.
We had a good time at Big Town in November. Some faces we haven't seen in awhile were there. Nice to see you all again.
Well, it's December and time for our Christmas dinner on the 13th. Please plan on attending for this catered event. If you have a favorite dessert, feel free to bring it with you. Welcome new Buzzard, Amy Miller. She qualified at Jupiter Lanes with the Wednesday Twilight league.
Ok, now for something serious. As things stand at this moment, Big Town Bowl Lanes will be closing the doors on December 31st of this year, UNLESS someone comes up with the money and financing to buy it and keep it open. If the center closes, we MUST approve a new home center. And, this means that monthly dues will have to be raised to offset the cost of lineage going up and to also be able to pay out to our monthly winners. So please be thinking of a number you feel you may be comfortable with for our monthly dues. I am in the process of getting prices from other centers and will have info for you on the 13th. I REALLY want to see our club come through this and continue on in true Buzzard fashion and pray we can come up with a reasonable solution to our problem. So, keep this matter in your prayers. May the Lord see fit to help us out with a solution to our problems. Amen. Remember ya'll, WE AIN'T QUITTERS, WE'RE BUZZARDS!! Thank you all for all you do!
