President's Column
Hello Fellow and Lady Buzzards. I hope this letter finds everyone in good health.
Well, here we go… We had a great turn out at Big Town for the 9 pin tournament and a good time was had by all. 71 bowlers were there, we paid out $115.50 for the 50/50, paid out $129.00 for brackets, made $73.00 on the bake sale, made $235.00 in raffle sales, and deposited $552.00 towards the tournament fund. WOW! Everyone deserves a huge pat on the back. Special thanks to all who helped out with the tables and such.
Now, it’s time to look forward to our Tri-Chapter Challenge in May at USA Bowl. I HOPE that I can see you all there. The chicken hat looks good on me, but I’d like to see it look good on someone else this year.
Also, be getting your teams together for the Buzzard National Tournament coming up in August in Houston. We should have sign up sheets to hand out soon.
Please join me in welcoming new members, Bob Johnson, Brandon Finney, and Debbie Evans. I am glad to have you as new Buzzard Club members. I hope to see you all on the 13th at Big Town.
