Well! Well! Well! Look who finally joined the flock! Rustin Jones has finally qualified. Rustin has been coming to the Buzzards Tournament as Ed Block’s guest for quite some time. He finally qualified at Forum Bowl and is now a member! Welcome aboard Rustin! We also had one guest this month. Sue Elich, guest of Steve Elich joined us at our September tournament.
DUES Dues were due in September if you are paying on a six-month basis. Otherwise, dues are due in March 2008 for annual payments. See Don Banfield if you are unsure how you are paying or what you owe.
The results are in! Irving Chapter did a fantastic job! Lots of money won by the Irving Chapter, including the Queen Buzzard Award won by Marla Martin. Hey, if you’re gong to do it, you might as well do it right! Kudos to the Dallas Chapter on the great job Mary did. There were very few complaints made, and her reporting documents are impeccable. A package with everything in it was given to all Chapters. At the Officers’ Meeting, Hot Springs asked to be permanently removed from the rotation due to lack of facilities to accommodate it. It was unanimously passed.

It’s time to raise some money for our Chapter. Bring items to auction off at our November Tournament because we’re going to have a Silent Auction! You can put a minimum amount of money on the sheet, if you so wish. One hundred dollars of the money raised will go to the Charity Fund. We will revote on where the balance will go once we know the exact amount.

Get ready Irving Chapter! We’re going shopping again this year. We will be doing the Salvation Army for our Charity again this year. Sue will head up this wonderful opportunity of shopping and delivering packages to the Salvation Army.
Where has Barbara Peabody been? So, you wondered what happen to Barbara, huh? Well, poor Barbara is recuperating from a fracture toe and instep, which she suffered over the Annual Tournament. She broke her toe at Debi Richardson’s house. She bowled the tournament and created further injury to her instep. She had to have surgery and is recuperating well. Barbara hopes to be back with the flock in November. Best wishes for a speedy recovery, Barbara! Hurry back! We miss you!
