Ok, folks, we’ve done it again! Another great month for the Irving Buzzards Club! We had two new members join the club this month. Joleen Brown, who was brought in by Sue Banfield, qualified at Don Carter West. Harmon Atkins brought in Lou Kropff, who qualified at Sparetime. We welcome these new members and hope to see them at all future tournaments.

Let’s not forget about our guests! We had four guests join us this month. Karl Williams, Gary McClain, Stephanie McClain, Wanda Smith, Jack Chilson and Sue Elich were all guests. As we all know, they are considered “Buzzard Bait”, and we hope they will soon be joining the club as permanent members.

We’re sorry to report that one of newest members, Norma Crabb will not be attending the tournaments for a while. Norma fell and broke her kneecap and will be having surgery. We wish Norma the best for a speedy recovery and hope to see her back with the flock soon!

The Salvation Army shopping trip has been set. Please see flyer accompanying this newsletter for full details. If you didn’t get a chance to sign the sign up sheet and/or you didn’t sign up and want to join the fun, please contact Sue Banfield before December 8, 2007. This is so we know how many boxes or bags we need. Don’t forget to bring money so that you can continue the fun at Angelo’s for lunch!

The Silent Auction was a success! The Irving Club has raised $360 from the Silent Auction! Great job everyone!

Continuing the fun, we will have our Christmas Party at Forum Bowl for our December Tournament. Everyone bring a covered dish, and it MUST be in your own container. We will have our strike exchange for those wising to participate. You MUST bring a $10 exchange gift in order to participate. If you don’t bring a gift, you won’t be able to participate. Sorry, no exceptions!
