Mary McCormack is doing well from her broken hip. It will be a long healing process. She fell again after her surgery, but is doing a lot better now. Her Osteoporsis is complicating matters, however, the x-rays show that the pinds are holding good. She has a Therapist that comes to the house two - three times a week. We wish Mary the best as she recuperates from this and hope to see her back with the flock soon!

 
Our January Tournament will be held at City View. Come experience the lanes at the home of the 2010 Annual Tournament! Everyone is encouraged to come to the tournament and see where we will be hosting our Annual Tournament in 2010.

Nancy Burden and Jacking Stovall are our January Grand Door Prize volunteers.

The Irving Chapter is proud to announce two (2) new members have joined the flock! We welcome with open arms Chris Osornio and David Dickinson. Chris, who qualified at Forum Bowl, is brought to us by Ricky Ellis. David, who qualified at Spare Time Lanes, is brought to us by Lou Kropff. Welcome Chris and David. We hope you enjoy yourselves, and we see you at all the upcoming tournaments! Lets all make Chris and David feel at home.

A big thank you to Lou Kropff and the Party Committee, Joleen Brown and Mary McCormack, for preparing such a great Christmas Party! Everything was great and everyone attending had a great time! Your hard work and time paid off! We appreciate all you did.

A special thank you to Diane, Joleen's friend. Out of the kindness of her heart she gave her time and helped the committee with the party as Mary McCormack couldn't due to her broken hip. We appreciate you, Diane!

Don't forget that December is our Annual Charity Fund. We will be doing the Salvation Army again this year. Bring money for lunch afterwards. We will probably go to our ol' standby, Angelo's. More detials to come! January will be our annual Installation Party at AMF Irving. This will be a special Nine Pin, No Tap Tournament. We will have cake only. Time and more details to come!

All right folks! You elected them, now come support your Club Officers as they get installed into office. January 24, 2010 will be our annual Installation Party! We will also be honoring the people with perfect attendance, King and Queen Buzzard for the year and the person who brought the most members in. Adding to the fun, we will also have a Nine-Pin, No Tap Special Tournament. It will be held at AMF Irving beginning at 12:00 p.m. Awards will be presented followed by the Installation of Officers. The party will follow. We will eat and handle sign up for the Nine-Pin, No Tap Tournament. Bowling will start at 2:00 p.m. Irving AMF has finally agreed to let us bring in limited food. Please bring snacks, appetizers, finger sandwiches, sweets and desserts only. NO DRINKS OR MAIN COURSES ALLOWED. The tournament will cost $15.00 CASH per person, and payout will be immediately following the tournament. Come join the fun and help welcome the new board and congratulate the award winners. A fun time is sure to be had by all who attend!
