We wish fellow member, Reese Howard a speedy recovery on her broken foot. Reese's foot is not healing well, and she will be having surgery to repair it on October 1, 2009. Our thoughts and prayers are with Reese as she gets through the surgery and recovery afterwards. Jackie Stovall's finance, Patrick, is doing pretty well considering everything. He is going through Chemotherapy and has his good and bad days. We continue to send best wishes and pray for Patrick's recovery as he travels down this bumpy road!
We are looking for an update on Sandy Carter's son’s surgery and recovery. If anybody has any information, please let us know. In the meantime, our continued best wishes and prayers go out to Sandy and her son as they go through this terrible time.
Lester Wilson will be having an eyelid surgery and will not be able to attend our October Tournament. The Irving Chapter sends our best wishes to Lester, and we hope everything goes well. We look forward to seeing Lester again at the November Tournament. Good Luck Lester!
Our best wishes to Jeff Visger, who has undergone some treatment recently. It was successful and further treatment is not anticipated at this time. We hope to see you back soon, Jeff!
We would like to congratulate all our members who came out winners at the Annual Tournament in Ft. Smith. We had a terrific turnout, despite our few last minute mishaps. We had numerous people place and win money. Congratulations to everyone! Irving Chapter - you should be very proud of yourselves!
It?s time to meet your fellow buzzards. Our July Tournament will be random lane assignments and crossovers. You will have the option of bowling with ONE (1) other person, if you so desire. Names will be drawn out of a hat (or whatever is handy) and you will be assigned a lane. To add to the fun, we are going to have crossovers as well. You will have the opportunity to bowl with as many people as you wish from the opposite sex. Bring your $$$ as it will cost $1 per person to do crossovers. Money will be paid out at the end of the tournament.
It's Silent Auction time folks! Bring items for our Silent Auction. The more items we have, the more options we have to buy! You can name your minimum bid on the item(s) you bring. You are welcome to retract the item(s) you bring from the auction tables, if nobody bids on it (them). This is a lot of fun, so bring your bidding hats and beware of the arm wrestling that might happen to win a bid on an item!
