We are proud to say that Reese Howard is NOT going to need surgery, after all, on her foot. It is healing well, and she will be getting the cast off soon. Her and Claire are going to spend a few relaxing days in Tennessee. We wish Reese continued success with her recovery and hope to see her back with the flock soon! Hurry back Reese – we miss you!! Jackie Stovall is having some health problems, herself. She has blood clots, and they are having trouble thinning her blood. She is on medication to help get the situation under control. We wish Jackie the best for a speedy recovery! Hurry back, Jackie!
Irving Buzzards are proud to welcome yet another new member. A warm welcome goes out to Diana Kovacs, who was brought to the club by Bennie Jones. Diana qualified at AMF Spare Time. Welcome aboard, Diana! We hope to see you at all the other Club Tournaments and Events.
Another successful Silent Auction for the Irving Buzzards! We had our bi-annual Silent Auction in October and will be voting in November to see where we want to put our profits.
The Grand Door Prize volunteers for our November Tournament are Lou Kropff and Mary Shipp. Anybody else that would like to bring a gift is more than welcome to do so.
The Party Committee is busy planning our annual Christmas Party, which will be our December Tournament. It will be held at Forum Bowl and will be Pot Luck. Bring your favorite dish to share with everybody. More details to come!
Don't forget that December is our Annual Charity Fund. We will be doing the Salvation Army again this year. Bring money for lunch afterwards. We will probably go to our ol' standby, Angelo's. More detials to come! January will be our annual Installation Party at AMF Irving. This will be a special Nine Pin, No Tap Tournament. We will have cake only. Time and more details to come!
