Hello Fellow Buzzards: I don’t have a lot to talk about this month but I do hope everyone had a wonderful summer as I did and are looking forward to the holidays. They will be here before you know it. All that food and time off from work, hmm can’t wait. Also, it’s sanction card time again. Please be sure to show them to Jackie this month and if for some reason you don’t have yours, check with your league secretary. That’s really it for this month, so on with bowling!!! Minutes of Meeting: Arlen opened the meeting and presented the treasurer’s report which passed. Five new member applications were voted on and also passed. Arlen asked for volunteers for the Rules and Nominating Committees and those will be listed later in the newsletter. Nothing else was brought up so the meeting was adjourned. |
Attendance: We had 48 Buzzards at the gathering in October, two that didn’t bowl and one pacer. We have had good turn outs in the last few months and hopefully we can keep it up. Hope to see all of you on NOVEMBER 7th @ AMF WINDFERN LANES 14441 N. W. FRWY (HWY 290) (713-466-8012). The meeting begins at 1PM and bowling begins AT 2 PM. Everyone must be signed up to bowl by 1:30 and please do not sign anyone up to bowl unless they are in the house. (REMEMBER TO PAY CASH ONLY FOR YOUR BOWLING AND BRACKETS)
