Bryan Boyd update…Bryan is still at Parkland Hospital and should be coming home sometimes the early part of November. Please continue to keep him and his family in your prayers. The “Benefit Garage Sale” for Bryan was successful. Overall we raised about $1,000 that was given to Bryan. Thanks to all of you that donated items and especially Lawana and Shannon for organizing and ALL others that donated their time to work. THANKS!!The 9-pin no tap tournament on October 28th at Rowlett Bowl-a-Rama also had a GREAT turnout. We had 2 squads that bowled and raised $700 for Bryan. A special thanks goes out to Stephen Fisher and Jerry Elisha Sr. for their help in running the tournament.
Please let us know of any illnesses, surgeries or deaths so we can keep our Fellow and Lady Buzzards in our prayers.
At the meeting last month, we voted to bowl and have the cake auction at Jupiter Lanes and then have the annual Buzzard Christmas party at Napoli’s Italian Restaurant in Garland. The cost will be $15 per person for an Italian buffet. Tickets will be on sale at this month’s meeting or you may purchase your tickets from Shannon, Lawana or Debi. If you have any questions please contact one of them.
Also, at last month’s meeting Katie Rohde discussed having a jewelry party to benefit Bryan. The following are the details… Party to be held on Saturday, December 8th between 3PM to 6PM (come and go like an open house)

There will be silver, gold, men’s, children’s and women’s jewelry. Half of all purchases will be donated to Bryan. Katie will have catalogs for those of you that cannot make it that day but would like to order something, especially with the holidays just around the corner!
